This was my elementary school, kind of sad to see it in such a state. So nostalgic as you walk us down the hallways. I remember playing in the sandbox in the kindergarten room, Scholastic Book Fairs in the library, being in the principals office lol, and playing a lot of volleyball in that gymnasium. I’m 36 now so that was a while back and now I’m sending my kid off to kinder this year. Thanks for sharing this cool bit of historical footage for me.

Well I think it is quite ridiculous to pay so much for a home, pay electricity, pay property taxes and who knows what else. I’m so sick of over consumption.

I can't say I have ever seen a driftwood stump lamp before. That kitchen was so dark with so much natural light coming in other areas. I imagine the window based in the kitchen is to be able to keep an eye on children- had it been a family home. I would have loved to see the date on that newspaper flyer inside that closet space.

Windsor Jail , the women’s dorm was 3rd floor, the bunk beds were cut off the floor & wkndrs used to go there sometimes as well & they used to do the laundry there as well, it was beside the hospital & the triple doored cell was the hospital infirmary, dirty fukn jail though , I brought lots of drugs into there every wk end ! Made a ton of cash from that , and partied all wknd !

Drop ceiling in kitchen very 1970s. I had a similar set up before we ripped it out. Also, beware indoor pools. The whole house will smell like chlorine.

If there is no community center in the area, this would be a fantastic use of funding and grants to create one. Building is not that old!
